Brief Description:

This is a closed event for Washington Pilot Association members only. 

This event will be a discussion regarding general aviation flying in Canada for the US pilot. Items covered will include chart differenes, circuit vs patterns at both towered and non-towered airports, filing flight plans, border crossings, weather reports, raido phraseology, NavCanada and alternate airport requirements. 

Pilot participation is encouraged, with Q&A supplying additional topics.

Directions to Venue:

The meeting will be held in the pilot lounge at at Jansen Field in Lynden, WA. 

From Bellingham, proceed north on Hannegan Road.  Continue straight on 1st Street.  Turn left onto Main Street. Continue 2 blocks and turn right on Depot Road.  Continue 0.6 miles.  The airport entrance is just past the flag on the left.

Doors open at 6:30pm, presentation starts at 7:00pm.
