Brief Description:

This is a hands on course. Don’t expect a power point. Expect to walk away with Wilderness First Aid and hemorrhage control certifications. Expect to gain knowledge in survival tactics to help you and your passengers in the event you make an off airport landing. This 3-day seminar is a small event tailored to give focused instruction to backcountry aviators and aircrew. Over 24 hours of in depth instruction with a 5:1 student:teacher ratio. Meals included. Participants must be fit enough to hike short distances. Primitive camping is available at the airstrip, and all participants are expected to camp at the facility for the course.
