"Learn to Turn" is a riveting seminar! Loss of Control-In Flight remains the top accident category in GA. Most often, LOC-I occurs during Maneuvering Flight. Via your attendance, you will learn what probably 86% of GA pilots do not know about it. Rich Stowell will introduce this keynote presentation as a formidable way to celebrate the incredible 35th Anniversary of CP Aviation, where he began his professional flight training career. Seminar length: 60 mins.

After the seminar, everyone is invited to join Rich and the entire CP crew and celebrate the 35th Anniversary with complimentary lunch.

CP Aviation is not only a full-service flight training center featuring tricycle gear and tailwheel aircraft, but CP also is a nationally known leader in making Emergency Maneuver Training available to pilots from all over the country.  Upset recovery is presented via the course structure Rich Stowell helped to develop. CP Aviation also supervises its own Aerobatic Flight Training Area located just east of the Santa Paula Airport which is home to many who practice what they have learned. In addition, a DPE is on staff. CP is celebrating its very special 35th Anniversary on this day!

Rich Stowell has given over 8000 hours of EMT, Spin, and Basic Aerobatic instruction. He has been a frequent lecturer at "Oshkosh," as well as a contributing editor for Flight Training magazine. Rich developed the acronym, "PARE," and has written books, and produced several videos. He received the "Founders Award" from SAFE, and has been a years-long SAFE Master Instructor. He has also received the FAA/Industry National Flight Instructor of the Year Award, and the IAC President's Award. Rich is a FAASTeam Lead Representative.

An FAA "WINGS Pro" will be on hand to answer any questions regarding the FAA WINGS program.
