Brief Description:
Engine failures can occur in any phase of flight. But what’s the real risk of it happening to you? Not very high, as it turns out. And more than half of engine failures—maybe a lot more than half—are caused by errors in maintenance or operation by the pilot that are avoidable. Paul Bertorelli recently completed an exhaustive research project on the subject and presents some of his findings in this webinar. Bertorelli is Editor at Large for Avweb and is a veteran aviation journalist. He’s an ATP-CFII and has been fooling around with airplanes for more than 40 years. He owns a vintage J-3.
