Brief Description:

Class will be participatory in nature, focusing on compliance with SIDs and STARs.  The discussion will focus primarily on "Climb/Descend Via" clearances, with examples of each being discussed.  The class will have pre-class homework that includes watching an FAA video, and reading FAQs covering some of the course material.  The discussion will lead into actual SIDs and STARs selected from the FAA database of procedures at multiple airports.

Class will be held in the conference room upstairs at the TXDOT facility on Golf Course Road.  The TXDOT facility is the only building currently on Golf Course Road.
