Join Truckee Tahoe Airport Pilot & Passenger Outreach coordinator Mark Covey as he provides guidance on safely planning and flying to and from the Truckee Tahoe airport (KTRK).  There have been many changes at KTRK over the last several years and Mark will bring us up to speed on these as well as the general cautions associated with flying into and out of a mountainous, high altitude airport with a large mix of different types of traffic!

Then join Jim, Art, and George, flight instructors and FAASafety Team representatives for the Oakland FSDO as they look at representative Controlled Flight Into Terrain (CFIT) accidents and causal factors and share good operating practices to avoid CFIT.

As always, we will welcome your questions during the Webinar (in the “Question” window) and will try to address each one during the presentation.

We are planning a 90 minute Webinar, from 1900-2030 PST (we will be back on Standard time in November).
