Title:
California Zooming - California Flying Oddities
Topic:
Mike and Brian discuss what makes flying in California odd, and fun.
Date and Time:
Saturday, September 12, 2020, starting at 09:30 Pacific Daylight Time (10:30 MDT; 11:30 CDT; 12:30 EDT; 06:30 HST; 08:30 AKDT; 09:30 Arizona; 16:30 GMT)
Speaker(s):
Brian Schiff and Michael Jesch
Brief Description:

California flying introduces a wide array of interesting challenges ranging from the terrestrial (mountains, deserts, and oceans) to the man-made (big cities and airspace out the wazoo!). Not for the faint of heart, but easily managed with some basic familiarity, Captains Schiff and Jesch will attempt to demystify and simplify some of these challenges, so you can relax and aviate with a little more confidence to enjoy all that California has to offer by air.

The Captains have over 60 years of major airline experience between them, and both own and operate small GA airplanes all over the state for various recreational opportunities. With strong roots in California aviation that go back decades, they’re sure to educate and amuse.
