This is something you either have never heard of or very seldom have. Numerous accidents involving fixed-wing aircraft have occurred as a result of helicopter wake turbulence. This session will explore the impact of helicopter wake turbulence on fixed-wing aircraft in both VFR and IFR environments. The participant will gain an understanding of how dangerous helicopter wake turbulence can be.

PRESENTED DURING THE EAA AIRVENTURE FLY-IN.  NO FEE FOR THE NAFI PRESENTATIONS, BUT AN ENTRANCE FEE IS REQUIRED BY EAA AIRVENTURE TO ENTER THE GROUNDS.
