Brief Description:

This interactive Arkansas Flight Safety Stand-Down uses a real-world cross-country scenario to guide pilots through the complete flight planning process. Participants will work in teams to plan a same-day VFR trip while addressing airworthiness, pilot readiness, fuel planning, weather, risk management, UAS activity, and military operations near Fort Smith. After each focused segment, teams refine their plan to see how decisions evolve as new information is introduced. The goal is to provide a practical, repeatable framework for managing risk in today’s complex shared airspace.
