Title:
NAFI 2025 - Effective Evaluations for CFIs and Students - At the PPC Education Center
Topic:
Are You Having to Coach Pilots on Their Flight Reviews?
Speaker(s):
Jurg Grossenbacher, John Chimiel
Brief Description:
We have identified that most of our flight instructors are coaching pilots throughout their Flight Review, IPCs, WINGS Flight Activities and Preparation for the Practical Checkride. Many of the general aviation accidents can be attributed due to the lack of knowledge and piloting skills due to ineffective evaluation. To mitigate these issues our flight instructors, need to practice becoming an effective evaluator.
PRESENTED DURING THE EAA AIRVENTURE FLY-IN. NO FEE FOR THE NAFI PRESENTATIONS, BUT AN ENTRANCE FEE IS REQUIRED BY EAA AIRVENTURE TO ENTER THE GROUNDS.
