Airplane and helicopter IFR students, pilots, and instructors will learn why the 1-2-3 rule for choosing IFR alternates is outdated and may cause accidents. Learn from actual IFR XC planning and in-flight footage how to choose use Takeoff, WDP, and Destination Alternates on ForeFlight, Garmin and Avidyne.
