Brief Description:
Will meet at the entrance to Memphis ARTCC located at 3229 Democrat Road, Memphis, 38118 shortly before 9 AM. Parking is limited. It is possible to fly into one of the FBOs and get a ride to the facility There is no aircraft parking close to the meeting place. The tour will take about 2 hours. It includes Memphis ARTC Center, National Weather Service and the Traffic Management Unit. You must have signed up at least 10 days prior to this tour. Additionally, please email me your full given name, date of birth, age, and citizenship status (US Citizen or Foreign National). If you are a foreign national, there is additional information I must supply, three weeks in advance and you must contact me. If you are not on my list , you will not be allowed on the tour. After the tour we will plan to eat locally then for those that have registered for the 1:00 PM Memphis Tower and TRACON (separate registration). 1:00 PM Memphis Tower and TRACON Tour requires a separate registration, see faasafety.gov. I will send out a list of names of those going so we can arrange car pools, as parking is limited.
