Not a month goes by where we don't see a posting on social media about a pilot attempting the so called Impossible Turn. Sometimes they make it, but unfortunately those are the ones we don't hear about. It's the Impossible Turn that went wrong that we see the aftermath of; and many times the results are fatal. During this seminar we'll discuss what the Impossible Turn is and consider the various challenges associated with attempting such a maneuver. Rather than reviewing statistical data the discussion will center around the causal factors and how to properly recognize and deal with an engine failure shortly after takeoff. Open discussion and the sharing of actual pilot experiences is encouraged.
