About the Speaker:
Kevin Quinn is a CFI, Warbird and Backcountry pilot and creator of the High Sierra Fly In as well as STOL Drag. He has accumulated 9,500+ hours of flight time, much of it in demanding mountain and off-airport environments and has flown everything from Super Cubs and Cessna Skywagons to Stearmans, T-6's and the P-51 Mustang. Kevin is the creator of STOL Drag which transformed short-takeoff-and-landing competition into a head-to-head racing format built around precision, energy management and pilot skill. STOL Drag went on to become a racing class at the Reno Air Races and Quinn's training philosophy remains simple: make good pilots better.
