Brief Description:

Join the Antioch Flyers at W96 (New Kent County Airport) for an engaging Human Factors presentation led by Cade Halle, Senior Manager of the AOPA Flying Clubs Initiative. Cade will discuss how decision-making, situational awareness, communication, fatigue, and other human factors influence flight safety, using real-world examples and practical lessons pilots can apply in everyday flying. Following the presentation, Jason Levine, Manager of Flying Clubs at AOPA, will present Fair Weather Flyer, an aviation accident case study exploring the events, decisions, and lessons learned from a real-world accident to help pilots strengthen their aeronautical decision-making and safety awareness.

The event will be held in the Main Hangar/FBO at New Kent County Airport. Pilots flying in should taxi to the large hangar and park outside the FBO upon arrival. Guests arriving by car may park in the designated areas adjacent to the FBO. We look forward to welcoming you for an informative and engaging evening of aviation safety and learning.
