What is the EAA/VMC Club?
EAA provides monthly program resources in the form of actual VMC related scenarios designed to encourage open discussion, and for all participants to answer the question “What would you do if this happened to you?”
What is the purpose of EAA/VMC Club?
The purpose of EAA Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC) Clubs is to promote flying, proficiency, and safety. The intent is to create a community of pilots willing to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, and build proficiency in flying.
EAA VMC Clubs are extensions to local EAA chapters which offer monthly VMC program meetings where pilots can network and share knowledge and experiences.
Do you need to bring anything?
First, bring your thoughts and any experience and be willing to share them with the group. This meeting is very interactive. Participation by everyone is a fundamental element to a successful EAA/VMC Club meeting.
Others have found it helpful to bring along a copy of their flight manual, GPS manual, and charts. If you navigate with an iPad, bring it along.
Who can attend?
This meeting is open to all current, non-current, and future pilots.
