Brief Description:
This Sunday, August 9th at 6:00 p.m., please join us in the EAA 563 hangar for our IMC Club's monthly scenario review. We will review a proposed flight in which an instructor encounters ceilings and visibility conditions that are below the original forecast at Meadville Airport. Would you elect to fly the planned approach at least once, even when the weather is reported to be right at minimums? Critical elements of the discussion include approach type selection, diversions to alternate airports, and instrument-flying proficiency. Additionally, we will review our EAA Question of the Month and answer. Attendees are eligible for WINGS credit for Knowledge Topic 1.

The meeting will be held in the EAA chapter hangar #57 on the south side of the field. Attendees who are not chapter members should contact the event coordinator for gate access and directions from the FBO. Fly-in traffic can park on the tees next to the FBO and contact the coordinator for an escort down to the hangar.
