What would you do if the flight you've practiced a hundred times suddenly became an emergency? Emergencies rarely announce themselves in advance, and the decisions made during the first few moments often determine the outcome. This seminar explores the skills, procedures, and mindset that help pilots respond effectively when the unexpected occurs.
Attendees will examine real-world scenarios involving engine failures, electrical failures, deteriorating weather conditions, communication failures, fuel-related problems, system malfunctions, off-airport landings, and other in-flight emergencies. Through practical examples and lessons learned, pilots will develop techniques to improve situational awareness, manage workload, and make sound decisions under pressure.

Please bring something to take notes with (pencil and paper recommended). The seminar is held inside an airplane hangar, so we recommend wearing light, comfortable clothing, as temperatures may become warm during the presentation.

Mr. Mend has provided instruction for pilots at every level and brings decades of operational and mechanical experience to his presentations.
