Instrument flying demands organization, situational awareness, and disciplined decision-making, especially in the challenging mountain environment around Truckee.  Join us for our next Fly Safe Seminar where CFI and FAA Safety Team Representative Philip Mandel returns for an engaging discussion on Keys to the Kingdom for Instrument Flight: The 5 P's, 6 T's, and 6 C's.  Philip will break down these easy-to-remember frameworks, explain when to use them, and show how they can help pilots stay ahead of the aircraft, reduce workload, and enhance safety during IMC operations.  This event will be available both live, in-house and online via Zoom.

About the Speaker:

Philip Mandel is an FAA Safety Team Lead Representative and “WINGS Pro.” He is the proud owner of a Thorp T-18 and was the 2020, ’21 & ’24 Portland, OR area FAASTeam Representative of the Year. Philip is also a professional pianist, author and Expert in Communication and Stress Management.
