Brief Description:

We will be reviewing and discussing information about night flight operations from the Airplane Flying Handbook, the Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, and the January/February 2025 issue of FAA Safety Briefing.

Our review will include many varied areas related to night flight including advantages, aeromedical factors, flight planning, night-flying illusions and sensory limits, and regulatory requirements.

Pizza will be available after 6PM for those attendees who arrive early.

Enter airport grounds from Rod Sullivan Road. Turn right on AMMONS Farm Road. Keep chain link fence and airport beacon on your left. Turn left at gate with Wings of Carolina banner. Park next to the Wings of Carolina Hangar. For Fly-In participants, parking is available on ramp in front of Wings of Carolina Flying Club hangar.
