Brief Description:

Could a security threat develop around your aircraft without you recognizing the warning signs? Security in aviation goes far beyond locked doors and airport gates. This seminar explores practical security considerations for pilots and aviation professionals, including threat awareness, suspicious activity recognition, access control, and emergency response planning.

Attendees will gain real-world strategies to improve security awareness both on the ground and in the air while learning how to better protect passengers, crew, aircraft, and airport environments. Discussion will include practical examples of security concerns affecting general and corporate aviation and how pilots can develop a stronger safety and security mindset.

Please bring something to take notes with (pencil and paper recommended). A light jacket is also recommended, as the seminar is held inside an airplane hangar and temperatures can occasionally be cool.

About the Speaker:
Guest Speaker Jill Dressel is the owner and trainer of CASE Training Academy, specializing in advanced cabin safety and aviation preparedness training for pilots and flight attendants. With over 26 years of aviation experience—including commercial and corporate flight attendant operations and cabin safety training—she brings practical, real-world insight into emergency preparedness, passenger safety, and operational security. Jill is an FAASTeam training provider and a certified Red Cross instructor.
