Brief Description:

Join the National Weather Service Forecast Office and Center Weather Service Unit for a presentation on summertime convective weather in and around Utah. The session will cover convective SIGMETs, Center Weather Advisories, local thunderstorm climatology, and specific aviation hazards, alongside strategies for interpreting TAF uncertainty during stormy conditions. Additionally, the CWSU will discuss the operational impacts of fire-induced thunderstorms (pyrocumulus) and highlight recent updates to Aviation Weather Center products.

This event will be held in person and does not have an online attendance option.
