This Seminar:
Oregon offers some of the most varied and rewarding seaplane flying in the American
West from the broad rivers of the Willamette Valley to the high desert lakes of the
eastern plateau, the coastal estuaries, and the volcanic crater lakes of the Cascades.
Herb Lingl, Education Director of the Clear Lake Flying Club, Inc., moderates this panel discussion exploring the best destinations, routes, and flying conditions Oregon has to offer.
Panelists Steve McCaughey, Darren Pleasance, Dave Wellman and Steve Bateman bring firsthand experience navigating Oregon’s diverse seaplane environment — where to fly, where to land, and what every pilot needs to know before venturing north.
