Title:
Aircraft Systems - Power to the Pilot
Topic:
Beyond the Knowledge Exam: Understanding Aircraft Mechanical Systems and Why Pilots Should Care
Brief Description:
Aircraft Systems cover the vast range of the combined mechanical systems that make up any given aircraft. These may be studied and memorized to pass a Knowledge or Practical Exam, and then forgotten.
Knowing how these systems actually work and being able to use this information in the flying of our own aircraft gives us the power to make safe choices. Is a problem an emergency or nothing to worry about? Will a minor problem become an emergency later?
Please join us and ask questions about your aircraft and experiences!
