Title:
Which Medical Best Fits Your Mission?
Topic:
Standard FAA Medical, BasicMed Or MOSAIC?
Date and Time:
Friday, May 15, 2026, starting at 09:00 Central Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Dr. Randy Corfman
Brief Description:

We are very lucky to have more than one option available to us for medically certify to fly in the United States.  The traditional FAA medical certification remains an option, but BasicMed became a viable option for many pilots several years ago.  When MOSAIC went into effect in October of 2025, we now find another option available to us as pilots.  We will explore how to best determine your mission and provide perspectives of the various medical options and which ones will let safely operate as a pilot in the national airspace system.
