Brief Description:
Believing that safety and proficiency are developed through education and experience. Monthly meetings use real world scenarios to engage our members and allow them to share and build their experience.
For May's meeting, we will discuss an EAA IMC Club scenario involving Instrument flying presented by Local ATP/CFII, FAASTeam Member & Ret FedEx Capt Brad Alberts. This month we'll take a look at executing night landing with inoperative light. We'll evaluate the safety aspects of lighting and the regulator requirements. Join us with your “Electronic Flight Bag” if you have one (ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot, WingX, Go Flight, etc.) loaded with charts for the area to aid in the discussion of the pilots options.
You do not need to be a EAA member or be instrument rated to attend.
