Brief Description:

The event presented by senior members of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) staff,will review the organization's mission and focus on the emergency services provided within the Florida Wing. The seminar will touch on what actually happens when an electronic locator starts transmitting or they are notified of a downed aircraft or pilot. This seminar will focus on what CAP capabilities exist an where they fit into a future emergency a seminar attendee might have.

The Treasure Coast FAA Safety Team is honored to present three speakers from the local Squadron. Lt Col. Hartley Postlethwaite is the Indian River Composite Squadron Commander (Vero Beach). The Col. is a former Navy pilot, current Warbird Pilot, and Founder/Director/Chief Pilot of the Naval Academy Power Flight Program. Joining the Col. will be Captain Clarence Bell, Deputy Commander who is check pilot and emergency services officer along with Cadet Lt. Col. Cristian Fuentes of the Stuart Composite Squadron.
