Brief Description:

Basic survival knowledge and equipment can greatly improve the odds of surviving after a forced landing.

This presentation will discuss the safety benefits of acquiring the knowledge, skill and equipment in preparation for survival after a forced landing.  

The guest speaker Ted Waltman holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate, and is an accomplished backcountry flyer in both Alaska and the local Southwest.  He is also an avid outdoorsman and provides comprehensive advice to Lower 48 pilots on how to safely and efficiently fly themselves to Alaska via his website:
