Title:
Visual Traffic Separation and Collision Avoidance Plus IFR/VFR Scenarios
Topic:
Pilots Are Responsible for Seeing and Avoiding Traffic.
Speaker(s):
Daniel Leonard FAASTeam Representative Of The Year
Brief Description:
Visual scanning for traffic is the most common means to avoid collision. Pilots must commit to an effective traffic scan throughout flight. Complacency and Distractions can severely compromise this scan.
Supporting this program will be Vfr and Ifr scenarios in which you must make best decisions about what to do. Students and Instructors are encouraged to attend.
A special video will be presented on Loss of Control, in which most pilots may not have associated this example with Loss of Control.
