The Minnesota Robotics Institute (MnRI) is hosting Drone Safety Day 2026 at Shepherd Laboratories on the University of Minnesota East Bank Campus.

Directions to Venue:

From Interstate 94, take Exit 235B. Turn West onto Fulton and North onto Se Harvard Street. Parking is Available at Church Street Garage, Washington Avenue Parking Ramp, and University Avenue Parking Ramp. The Metro Transit Green Line also goes directly to the campus. Keep in mind that Spring Jam 2026 starts at 1600. So, event parking may apply and plan accordingly. Shepherd Labs are located due south of The Armory.

Events will highlight the "Fly RIGHT" principles through both in-person, virtual, and hybrid activities including a tour of the prestigious Shepherd Laboratories' cutting research in aerospace. Presenters from from the FAASTeam, ASTM, AUVSI and the Aerospace Engineering department will be on hand to meet and interact. Individual presentations will be live-streamed and announced separately.
