Brief Description:
Flying Companion Workshop & Pilot Safety Seminar
This event combines a Flying Companion Workshop for non-pilots with a FAASTeam WINGS Safety Seminar for pilots.
The Flying Companion Workshop is designed for non-pilot spouses, friends, and frequent passengers to learn how to be an effective safety resource during flight, including basic aircraft awareness, communication, and emergency response. Simulator time is included.
Pilots will attend a WINGS-eligible seminar covering Single-Pilot Resource Management and practical methods for incorporating a non-certified flying companion to enhance safety.
The seminar is provided at no cost. Please consider donating, as contributions support The Ninety-Nines’ scholarships, aviation education, and local outreach, including Cascadia Tech Aviation.
