Brief Description:
In Ohio, the OSHP is responsible for the immediate aftermath of an aircraft accident and notifying the FAA. The speaker is a retired pilot for the Ohio Highway Patrol and will discuss their responsibilities for contacting first responders if appropriate, securing the scene, and ensuring the safety of those nearby. In addition there will be a discussion of pilot responsibilities after an event.
