Brief Description:

This session dives into the limitations of flight training, the pitfalls of training scars, how some training may lead to poor habits and misunderstandings regarding aircraft, and in-flight emergencies. At the completion of the session, attendees will be able to determine methods for reducing training scars, explain the differences between a simulated aircraft emergency and a real aircraft emergency, and consider techniques to prepare pilots for in-flight failures that are difficult to practice in a training environment.
