Final Approach Throw Down and Rhyme or Reason

Speaker(s):
Larry Martin
Brief Description:

Final Approach Throw Down:  Everyone has their recipe for a perfect landing, and the mix of ingredients vary from plane to plane. The instructor recommendations are usually the best starting point when you’re checking out on a new model. What will you do when the Certificated Flight Instructor’s recommendations don’t make sense, but you still need that signoff to fly your new airplane?

Rhyme or Reason:  You had a plan. You flew the plan … to within 15 minutes of your destination. Now it’s falling apart, but the resolution could be only a couple hundred feet below you or a few minutes ahead. Or, either choice could be a fool’s errand. Will you stick with the plan or go rogue?

Members watch 2 short videos scenarios  and discuss how they would respond to the given situations.  This is an open forum for free ideas and we all learn from shared experience!   All are welcome to join in.  With dynamic discussions of both topics' this seminar should be 2 hours long and enhance everyone's education.
