Brief Description:

In this interactive seminar, we’ll be discussing findings and recommendations from a government/industry group known as the General Aviation Joint Safety Committee.  The committee studies groups of fatal general aviation accidents and, based on those studies, recommendations that they call safety enhancements are developed to increase general aviation safety.  Today we'll discuss:

  1. Best practices for teaching Airworthiness Awareness in the hope that students will learn how to avoid system/component failure events
  2. Best practices for systems operation and how to prepare students to deal with an engine failure in flight.

This is a forum, so audience participation is essential to success!
