Title:
Airport Advocacy and Your Right to Fly
Topic:
Aircraft Incident Response
Brief Description:
We will start the evening off with the FAAST Topic of the Month which is GA Safety Culture. Then a presentation about the importance of community engagement on some of the threats to airports. Included will be what we can do individually and things we can do as a whole.
Covered topics will include emergency response to nearby incidents that will be attributed to the airport regardless of the cause. Turning media attention from interviewing “eyewitnesses” to promoting the tenets of aviation safety. Education is key, and all of this affects your ability to fly.
