Title:
Wings of Carolina Flying Club Quarterly Safety Seminar
Topic:
'System/Component Failure'
Speaker(s):
Paul Golick, Professional CFI
Brief Description:
We begin with a review of an accident that may not have occurred had regular maintenance and inspections been performed. Relevant regulations and best practices will be discussed. Yet, unexpected system or component failures occur. How we prepare ourselves and our students to handle such failures will also be discussed.
We will also use NTSB reports for a few case studies of accidents at TTA or in NC where lack of maintenance or inadequate inspections resulted in fatalities.
Pizza will be available after 6PM for those attendees who arrive early.
The presentation is open to all pilots. Click the link below and register TODAY.
