Brief Description:
This forum is dedicated to a discussion of best instructional practices for teaching stable approaches and go-arounds. We’ll talk about the General Aviation Joint Safety Committee’s study of loss of control accidents and their safety enhancement recommendations. We’ll define stabilized approaches and go-arounds and discuss when and how best to teach them. Along the way we’ll offer some tips and tricks to improve training effectiveness.
