Title:
Two Crash Reviews and Volunteer GA Pilots Safety Scenarios
Topic:
Volunteer Crash Reviews and Safety Scenarios for Volunteer and GA Pilots.
Date and Time:
Thursday, November 6, 2025, starting at 19:00 Eastern Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Mark Hanson
Brief Description:

If Gov Shutdown still active then there will be no webinar this day.

Be a Better GA & Volunteer Pilot!

Each month we will focus on two volunteer mission crashes and several actual volunteer flight scenarios adding 'Did Well' and 'Do Better' commentary.

Pilot safety operational considerations are numerous requiring diligent regular review especially given the variety of volunteer flight types. The considerations for safely flying a child that is facing challenging medical outcomes, are quite different than flying endangered turtles to rescue facilities.

This webinar will help both existing and potential volunteer pilots of all types to identify both basic and advanced safety considerations. The discussion of related actions from pre-flight to post flight will help the charitable aviation community continually strive to leverage cross organizational best safety practices.

If not already in the WINGS Pilot Proficiency program please join us.
