On Sunday September 21, 2025 The City of Vancouver and the National Parks Service will be celebrating 100 years of Pearson Field. At 1 PM Brig Williams who is a CFI, FAASTeam Rep, and Pearson Field Advisory member will present on the best practices for Non Towered Operations.
What are the different ways one should enter and exit the pattern at our local airports? Why do Towered Operations have different procedures than Non Towered Operations? How do proper procedures enhance safety? We have a thriving and active flying community in the Portland FSDO, therefore best practices enhance everyone's utility of our amazing airports.
Come and take part of our 100 years of Pearson Field.
Join us at 7:30 for an EAA Pancake Breakfast, Opening Ceremony at 9:45. Vendor Booths and Food Trucks.
