Cold temperatures bring unique challenges to general aviation, from preflight prep to in-flight decision-making. In this seminar, we’ll discuss key hazards such as airframe icing, engine performance in cold conditions, winter weather planning, and ground operations on slick surfaces. Whether you're a student pilot or a seasoned flyer, learning how to safely manage winter-specific risks is critical. Join us on November 20th from 1800 to 2000 for this important seasonal safety discussion. Food and drinks will be available.

Drive-in: Birmingham Flight Center is located at 4255 East Lake Blvd. We currently share a parking lot with Southern Sky Aviation. We are the last door towards the flight line. 

Fly-in: Birmingham Flight Center is located on the east side of hangar 35 on the Atlantic aviation ramp. We are the door by the parking lot.
