This seminar will discuss hot weather operations including how aircraft, engine and pilot performance are affected, potential issues to watch out for, and how to mitigate those issues.
Our presenter, Lt Col Kevin "Algae" Moss, USMC (ret), is an aviation instructor and head of the Aviation Program at the Army & Navy Academy in Carlsbad, CA. He is also the Safety Officer of Fallbrook Squadron 87. Lt Col Moss spent 21 years as a Marine Corps aviator amassing over 2,600 flight hours, primarily in the CH-53E.
