Brief Description:

Join us for the third annual meeting of the Truckee Tahoe Airport (KTRK) Runway Safety Action Team (RSAT) where we will discuss risk factors that affect our movement areas. TRK Tower Manager, Larry Finney will lead us in recognizing hot spots and hazards and will review recent safety events. This meeting will help TRK produce the 2025 Runway Safety Action Plan (RSAP) update. Earn FAA WINGS credit and help enhance the safety of Truckee Tahoe Airport's ramps, runways and taxiways.

About the Speaker:

Larry Finney brings over 35 years of air traffic control experience to TRK as the sitting Air Traffic Manager and has been with Truckee Tower since 2017. Prior to controlling air traffic he was a flight engineer with the Nevada Air National Guard and holds a Private Pilot certificate.

This event is part of the Truckee Tahoe Airport Fly Safe program.
