Title:
Phoenix Deer Valley and Scottsdale Pilot/Controller Forum - Hybrid
Topic:
Meet With the DVT & SDL Air Traffic Managers and Controllers
Speaker(s):
DVT Air Traffic Control Tower Manager and Controllers, and the FAASTeam
Brief Description:
This one and a half hour lecture/discussion is an opportunity for all users of the north valley airspace surrounding Phoenix Deer Valley to directly speak with DVT air traffic controllers. Ever wonder what the controller wants when they say "Stand-by or Continue?" This is your chance to ask. Want to know where pilots are causing Pilot Deviations on the surface or in the airspace, this is your time to ask. Ever wonder if you have to go-around with an airplane on the runway ahead of you and the controller has cleared you to land? This is your time to ask. Ever wonder whether the SATR is active if Luke Approach is open on the weekend? This is your time to ask. As the From the Flight Deck Video for Deer Valley Airport states, "Know before you go."
