Understanding What Return to Service Means for a Safer, Legal flight.

Brief Description:

Documented Return to service by the AMT after maintenance and the owner operator after preventive maintenance is required to keep the aircraft's Airworthiness Certificate valid.  A valid Airworthiness is the authority a pilot to operate the airplane. When the maintenance activity is performed and completed by a maintenance technician or by the owner/operator are required to log in the maintenance record an entry stating the aircraft is returned to service. This action is necessary to enable pilots to carry out their responsibilities for the airworthiness of the aircraft they fly. This presentation will provide information of  where and how to verify the Return to Service documentation that authorizes the pilot to legally operate the.airplane.

FROM I-77, EXIT 83C TO SC 161 [CELANESE RD] WESTBOUND TOWARDS YORK. SC.  CON TINUE WESTBOUND TO MUSEUM ROAD,TURN RIGHT AND WHEN ROAD SPLITS, STAY RIGHT ONTO AIRPORT ROAD T0 TERMINAL BLDG ON THE RIGHT.  PARKING LOT IS IN FRONT OF THE TERMINAL BLDG. ENTER THE TERMINAL BLDG FROM THE PARKING LOT TO THE CONFERENCE RM.

FROM YORK, EASTBOUND ON SC HWY 161 TO MUSEUM ROAD, THEN TURN LEFT ONTO MUSEUM RD AND REMAIN RIGHT ONTO AIRPORT ROAD TO TERMINAL BLDG.

NOTE: CONSTRUCTION [PARKING LOT REPAVING] MAY STILL BE WORK IN PROGRESS.  IF SO, PARK ON THE GRASS SOUTH OF TERMINAL BLDG, ENTER THROUGH THE ACCESS GATE [WILL BE UNLOCKED] ONTO THE APRON TO THE DOORS FACING THE RUNWAY.  PROCEED UPSTAIRS TO THE CONFERENCE ROOM.
