As part of our commitment to sharing the air safely with our neighbors, San Carlos Flight Center has invited Laura Velasco Mayock, a speaker from the Seabird Protection Network, which partners with pilots to protect seabird colonies along our coast. We’ve asked her to help our pilots understand the wildlife in the SF Bay Area, particularly along the water’s edges. She will share incredible stories about the local wildlife, and info about NOAA overflight areas and the special species they are designed to protect.
