Rob works for the SoCal TRACON, the busiest in the world, and has been a very active ATC spokesperson all around Southern California. He has led past Operation Rain Check visits at the TRACON, and has been the featured speaker at many pilot groups in the WP09 (San Diego) and other regions. He has an engaging speaking style and his Q & A sessions at the end are extremely valuable and popular.

Directions to Venue:
Exit I-15 or SR-163 at Balboa Ave; go west from I-15, east from SR-163 to Ruffin Road, south on Ruffin Road to the first traffic light at Ridgehaven, turn west into the Solar Turbines parking lot.
Be sure to enter the parking lot at the Ridgehaven traffic light and then go all the way back and make a left at the last row for parking.

If you are unable to pre-register, you are still welcome to show up but you may need to wait for Security to check in registered guests before they can check you in.
When checking in with Solar Security Guards, you must provide a government issued I.D. (e.g. Drivers License) and initial a login sheet. This is required to be a Guest at the Solar facility.
Please arrive on time. The security staff manning the entrance leaves promptly at 6:45pm; there is no longer anyone to let in late arrivals.
