Brief Description:

Safety and education topics and scenarios related to safety of flights in VMC and IMC conditions are presented each month and actively discussed in a forum setting. "What would you do, and why" discussions provide insight and knowledge through active audience participation. The forum is led by experienced CFI's. 

In this month's meeting we will be discussing the following scenarios:

Planning a VFR flight over mountains, recognizing the effects of mountain waves, and timely decisions for safety of flight.

Planning an IFR flight with potential for icing in clouds, changing weather, available forecasting tools, and discussion of decisions for safety of flight.
