Title:
March Topic of the Month -- Risk-based Flight Review and Wings
Topic:
Safer Flight Through Focus on a Risk-Based Flight Review
Speaker(s):
Jay Seward, FAASTeam Representative
Brief Description:
This presentation is dedicated to Flight Reviews, but it in not just for instructors! The General Aviation Joint Safety Committee feels that Flight Reviews that are based on the management of risks can go a long way toward preventing accidents. Moreover, doing this can be both educational and enjoyable for the instructor and the pilot meeting his or her Flight Review requirement. There are risk-focused learning options inside the WINGS database of courses to help you meet this goal. Preparation for a Flight Review (or any flight) is as important as the flight itself. Learn to manage your current risks and how to assess your risks in your future flying adventures by attending this seminar. Fly Smart and Safe!
