Please join us for a chance to hear from our local Air Traffic Controllers and discuss issues specific to our local SD airports and airspace. Bring your questions for any of the towers to help you enhance safety and efficiency when flying to/from the San Diego area. Hear the latest on airport construction and other concerns from the airport managers.

On the Agenda will be the following topics:

  • CRQ, MYF, RNM, SDM, SEE surface and pattern operational concerns, airspace issues, runway incursions, hot spots, and challenging airfield Issues.
  • Challenging arrival and departure issues and best practices
  • Pilot deviations in the San Diego area: the process and outcomes
  • Air Traffic instructions and clearances
  • Training issues (practice approaches, training areas, limiting pattern ops)
  • Airport Construction
  • Open dialogue with our air traffic controllers
